IUPUI - The Worst College Hoops Team In The Country - Is Now On Twitter Asking Students To Come Try Out For The Team

Well, here's a new one. IUPUI, the worst team in the country, is now on Twitter asking for students to come try out for the team. First, I'm not exaggerating here. IUPUI is ranked 358th on KenPom out of 358 teams. They are 1-19 and their 1 win is over a non Division I team. Not great! Second, there are less than 5 weeks left in the season! What are we doing here? I've seen teams ask for tryouts before the season. But this late in the season? That's a new one. 

The requirements aren't even that crazy. Hell, I have all but 1. Health insurance? Thank you very much, Barstool. That's right. Benefits, bitch. Medical paperwork? Done. Sickle cell results? Clear as day. Physical within the last 6 months? Well, let's calm down here. I'm not going to the doctor every 6 months. Going to the doctor isn't as bad as the dentist but it's still a pain. You gotta schedule something weeks out, remember the appointment and then show up. Too much work.

IUPUI played just 6 guys last game. A little bit of foul trouble and guess what? It's Joe, the junior marketing major, coming in to launch threes. Seven regular season games left. Perfect chance to make a name for yourself and hang on with the team. Worst case? You become the ultimate bench mob guy and get some content out of it. Not to mention free gear. Free gear is always worth it.
