A Massive Part Of Gaming History Is Coming To An End. On January 13th, Halo 3 Servers Will Be Shutting Down For Good
The fight has finally been finished.
On January 13th, Halo 3 servers will officially be shut down. This ends a golden era for a lot of gamers, myself included. Halo 3 is where I got my start on online multiplayer gaming and here was nothing quite like Halo 3 (I was too young to really get obsessed with Halo 2).
Whether you were playing online, Co-Op Campaign, Forge, ranked multiplayer, it didn't matter. Halo 3 was one of the most complete games of all time and stands in the foundation for so many gamers. To this day, I wish there was some game that captivates my attention like Halo 3 used to. Halo Infinite is a damn good game, so the Halo franchise is certainly in a great place.
Thankfully, you'll still be able to play Halo 3 on the Master Chief Collection, but the book is officially closing on the OG Halo 3 days.
