We Have Some "Washington Commanders" Logo Leaks And It's Very Possible That's The New Name

Ever since they announced the new name and branding would be released on February 2nd, us fans of our dear Washington Football Team have been wondering what the new name will be. Because we aren't total morons, it quickly got narrowed down to 2 possibilities: Commanders and Admirals. And now today there has been a leak that shows the new name is more than likely going to be Commanders.

I don't hate it. "Hail to the Commanders" doesn't have the best ring to it, but we'll get used to it. "Fight for ol' DC" makes more sense now though. People will wine and complain and say things like "I'll never call them the Commanders" and by week 3 they'll be calling them the Commanders. I'll just be happy we have a fucking name. And they're keeping the colors the same, so it's all good for me.

And if it's not Commanders, we'll just cut and paste this same blog for whatever it is, because at the end of the day I won't be buying any merch anyway as long as Dan Snyder owns the team, so what's the difference anyway?
