This Video Alone Should Put Barry Bonds In The Hall Of Fame

I blogged about this during the College Baseball World Series, these umpire camera angels are fantastic. They're even better when they happen during a Spring Training at-bat with Barry Bonds at the plate. I know it's only a 4 second video but how much more do you need? We get to see his beautiful swing from an angle we rarely saw, and you already know he sent that ball 440. From this angle you can really see how effortless his swing was, all he does is throw the bat at the ball and it's gone. So quick, so easy, so powerful. I get it's not a regular game so he's probably not going all out, but with that swing he doesn't need to. Pitcher tried to sneak one in on Bonds and he wasn't having any of it, that'll teach him to try and come inside again. No clue how he was able to generate as much power as he did with this simple, easy swing. This is the video that should be sent to those idiot voters and be like "do you all see how cool this looks? Look for far that ball went!" and they'd be like "holy shit you're right, how did we keep this guy out of Cooperstown?" Seems like a no-brainer to me. He should be in the hall just for this video. I'm also going to reiterate my point that we should have umpire cameras in games, college does it, give us a camera on Angel Hernandez's dome so we can see what the hell he's looking at when he calls some of his calls. Give us what we want, cool camera angles and Barry in the hall.
