'The Challenge Lies, Spies And Allies' Week 18 Recap And Power Rankings - Start Of The Final And Typical Tori
*Spoilers Obviously Ahead. Again, this is your warning*
We're going to keep these blogs going. If we can't have No Quitters (RIPIP, send all complaints on Twitter) we're going to have the blog damnit. The Challenge is too damn good of a show to not be talked about. Each Thursday I'll drop one of these recaps and power rankings so we all can argue about America's fifth sport. I'll try to convince the other guys to do something from time to time because something tells me this season is going on for months.
The night of eliminations
Alright so the show starts with the night of eliminations and to be frank, HUGE fan of it all. The fact we got the old school voting of standing there and being put on the spot. Fuck these secret votes and not knowing who voted for who. Give me the old way of sitting around in a crowded room and having to say someone's name out loud. It's what caused all the fighting and hatred. It was beautiful. But this was also a sneaky good way to get the final number down without wasting another episode. We know the season was dragging on and they had to make one more twist to eliminate people. Love it.
Amanda made the mistake

There are two ways to play this game, smart or vendettas. Amanda decided to play with hate in her heart and I won't knock her for that. Why not try to eliminate Tori, one of the better competitors, right before the final? You give yourself a better chance to win because you can catch Tori bad for one event. However, it was a physical event and she got her ass kicked. She legit got carried around the ring, almost, ALMOST, a Bananas Backpack situation. Quick break for that.
Tori's a fucking moron and actually made me side with Nelson
So we have Devin vs Emanuel for the guy's elimination in 3 puzzles. What happens? Devin gets off to the slow start and Emanuel gets up to the 2nd puzzle which was just sudoku. So out of nowhere Tori decides to start helping Emanuel. She's called Devin her number 1 guy partner in the game but she's fucking Emanuel. You can't help anyone there. The best part is as she's getting yelled at she says she wants to help both people. Uhh, ding dong brains, just stay silent like everyone else. Needless to say Devin still wins despite Tori's dumbass move.
It's CT's final
So we get to the start of the Final and it's typical Challenge final. We're seeing them having to run up a mountain, solve puzzles, jump out of a helicopter, etc. CT is doing CT things where he knows when to sprint (downhill) and when to save some energy. Meanwhile Nelson is running around like a bat out of hell which cracked me up. Dude has no brain on how to handle a final. Also how bad is Kaycee at puzzles? For someone who has been cocky all year, she flat out stinks at puzzles. Might want to brush up on that at some point there.
I hate the final twist
Why? Why are we back to teams? Fuck that. Make it a solo event the entire time just so we can see CT smoke everyone. Now we have CT, Devin, Tori and fucking Emy's annoying ass on a team vs Nany, Kaycee, Nelson and Kyle. Obviously we see the teaser that whatever team is 2nd at some checkpoint is going to have an elimination between two teams. If you're not cheering to see Nany vs Kaycee after they talked about winning it together and dating, I don't want to know you. I want to see them freak out and have to eliminate each other. Hopefully it goes back to a single event after the elimination.
