How Is Albert Pujols Dealing With The MLB Lockout? By Hitting A No-Doubter To The Moon For His LIDOM Team

With no new baseball news coming across because of the lockout all we have is the guys playing in Winter League. We already know Albert Pujols is down there because we've seen him have a walk off hit and his team go nuts celebrating. Well last night The Machine unloaded for his first LIDOM homer of the season, and it was a shot. Of course it's off a lefty too. I have a feeling that when he connected Brad Lidge could feel something going down his spine.

He may be 56 but he's still got some power! He knew it off the bat too, the crowd also let him know. I love the idea of Pujols being down there just having fun and playing ball. The guy has earned over $339 MILLION and he's down there grinding it out every day just so he can keep hitting bombs. He doesn't need to be there, he could be laid up on a beach waiting for someone to give him a one-year deal. Nope, all he wants to do is keep hitting.

Pujols was even able to make this young fans day by taking a picture with him, gotta love stuff like this.

And there was another famous slugger in the other dugout too. A ton of star power in the ballpark to watch Pujols' first career Winter League homer, with nothing else going on in the sport it's hard to blame them for wanting to take in a game. Maybe we see Soto get a celeb shot at-bat in one of these games.
