I Am Petitioning For Big Ben To Not Practice The Rest of The Season And Probably Even His Career

That game was an absolute kick in the dick gut punch all in one last night. Toy with our emotions to come back down 17 in the 4th to the point where I actually said to myself "we're gonna win this friggin' thing" only to have it crumble with a blown coverage....tough.

BUT if I'm going to take any positives away from last night I think it has to be the play of Big Ben. There was a time in the third and fourth quarter where I felt like I was watching 2014-2017 Ben. I felt confident. He had a lot of zip on the ball and was accurate, seemingly totally in control of the offense. Look at those numbers off of no practice. I don't think he or the team has any other choice. No more practice for 7. No more. What's the point? He clearly plays better, fresher coming off nothing than a week of full practice. What is practice going to do for him at this point at 39 years old besides make his knees hurt more and take the last few bullets he has out of his clip? He's seen it all and twice more since '04. No more practice, Ben.

We all know that kid from high school or college that wouldn't take a swing all winter while you're busting your ass on the tee only for him to show up and be a walking double like it's nothing once spring comes. That's Big Ben somehow on the highest level. Let him show to the facility, get on the same page with "mental reps", watch some film, then show up on Sunday and use whatever he has left in him to give us a shot.
