A French Goalie Is Facing A Suspension For Taking A Piss On The Field During A Game Because The Ref Refused To Stop Play

[Sun] - A GOALKEEPER faces seeing his career go down the pan… after being sent off for PEEING on the pitch.

The unnamed number one plays for seventh-tier club AC Saint-Brevin. Pleas to the ref to stop the game so he could take a toilet break went unheeded.

So the goalie attempted to take a sneaky leak in the back of his net while the ball was upfield. However the official spotted him in mid-flow - and sent him off for offensive behaviour with the score at 1-1.

Local league chiefs are now expected to hand the disgraced keeper a lengthy ban. According to French outlet footamateur, he has already been slapped with an initial three-game suspension.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What is so wrong here? If anything the ref should be suspended. He asked to stop play so he could go to the bathroom. That's a fair ask. It's like the first episode of The Dozen Tournament when Feits and I both asked Jeff D. Lowe the bathroom situation. Some people need to pee during heated competition, not that the game against Nightmare was really 'competition.' But you get my point. The goalie asked the ref. Instead the ref went full dad on a road trip. There's nothing worse than this, I say that as someone with a small bladder and now a dad. Dad's just want to get from point A to point B as fast as possible. No gas, no snacks, no bathroom, no nothing. Get in the car, sit quietly and let him drive in peace. 

We're also talking about the seventh league. Poor dude probably works as a bartender when he's not a goalie. He's used to being able to go to the bathroom and rightfully so. No person should be denied the right to take a piss if they can't hold it. What do you want him to do? Risk a Paul Pierce situation? I don't think so. And hey it's not like he pissed ON someone.

All I know is a lengthy suspension is outrageous. The unnamed goalie waited for the ball to be on the other side of the field. He tried to sneak it. Why wasn't the ref paying attention to the play? These are the questions that need to be addressed. If there's justice in the world this suspension will get overturned.
