Xavier's Strategy Of Watching The 2007 NCAA Tournament Game To Get Pissed Off Before Playing Ohio State Was Pure Genius

This is peak football guy territory from Travis Steele and company. Not surprised. Steele has some football guy in him. Just listen to him talk one time. But the point is that Dante Jackson who played for Xavier and is now on their staff tweeting it out. People around this city couldn't stop talking about it. Revenge for this.

Along with that, was Greg Oden not getting called for an intentional foul when he just straight up pushed Justin Cage with 10 seconds left. Still kinda crazy they didn't call that. But obviously you have Oden on Ohio State's coaching staff and we get all this revenge talk.

Here's what I know. Ohio State and Xavier need to play every year. Do some sort of Crossroads Classic with Ohio State, Xavier, Dayton and UC. Keep the X/UC annual game and then have them alternate playing Ohio State/Dayton. My only problem here is Cintas was rocking. I want that game to be on campus. We even got some quality trolling.

Now as for the game? Uhh hello Paul Scruggs.

Taking it at EJ Liddell who had 7 blocks. Punching it right on him like that? Ridiculous way to help seal a game. This Xavier team is tough to figure out, but they have all the pieces. They really need Freemantle back,  but Jack Nunge came in and was arguably their best player last night going for 14/14. They only hit 5 outside shots, but you can tell they have the shotmakers. It'll come. And more importantly they defended their ass off. Dieonte Miles played just 9 minutes because of foul trouble and they never trailed. Insane.

Less than 3 hours to more hoops today. Giddy up.
