Nickmercs Won't Play The New Call of Duty: Vanguard Because The Search And Destroy Community Is So Toxic

If you've watched Nickmercs lately, you've noticed that he's been grinding Apex regardless of the new Call of Duty dropping (Also, huge shoutout to the boy for finally hitting Apex Predator - the highest rank in Apex).

In the video above, Nickmercs said he won't be touching the new Call of Duty: Vanguard because of how toxic the Search and Destroy community is. For those of you that don't know, Nick previously used to stream nightly Search and Destroy tournaments on games like Call of Duty: Ghosts, Black Ops 3 and various other CoDs. He doesn't enjoy playing pubs (regular multiplayer) because he loves the competition element.

The Search and Destroy scene on Call of Duty (and I'm specifically talking about paid "wager" matches or tournaments) are notoriously toxic. They DDoS (knock you offline), stream snipe and entirely take trash talk WAY too far. This community has been filled with rats since the dawn of time.

As we have first-hand proof, now more than ever you have to be especially careful due to all the hacking.

I'm PRAYING that when the anti-cheat drops on December 2nd, it'll finally end the hacking problem. Wishful thinking, but I'm trying to be as optimistic as possible.

When the anti-cheat drops (pending it working as intended) - expect more Gametime tournaments to hit the scene.
