Henry Ruggs Is Being Charged With A DUI In A Car Crash That Resulted In A Death

Jesus Christ, man. As everyone has been glued to Twitter all day waiting for any big NFL trade to break before the deadline, a story like this drops from Ian Rapoport and causes you to triple take before you shake your head.

Now obviously the Las Vegas police have to investigate everything. But there is simply no denying how easily this could’ve been prevented. I can’t think of a valid excuse for someone living in a city like Vegas, that is most certainly open 24/7 and crawling with Ubers and Lyfts at any time of day or night, to get behind the wheel if they are anywhere near under the influence.

Far too often we hear about the public figures or people we know busted under the influence and kinda brush it off because nobody got hurt or because drinking and driving has somehow gotten this weird bad boy cool vibe to it for for some people for some god awful reason. But the reason you cannot do that is because of how tragic doing some stupid shit like that can be and how easy a nightmare like this is is to prevent that shatters multiple lives.

TL;DR  Don’t drink and drive. Ever. Not only for yourself but for the innocent people you can kill. I can’t believe we still have to say something like this in the year 2021 but here we are.
