SCHEFTY BOMB: The Broncos Are Trading Von Miller To The Rams For A 2nd And 3rd Round Draft Pick
Now that's how you get the final countdown to the NFL Trade Deadline going! If you had to guess which contender would make a big move at the deadline by giving up draft picks for one of the biggest names in the NFL, the Rams would've been your first, second, and third choice. I'm honestly impressed the Rams still have picks to give away after the last few years, let alone picks on Day 2 of 2022.
This is where I would insert the joke about the Rams apparently being exempt from the salary cap the NFL allegedly has since Von Miller got paid like one of the best pass rushers in the game years ago. However, it looks like the Broncos are going to take the financial hit on this one in exchange for those draft picks.
So now the Rams have a Big 3 of Aaron Donald, Von Miller, and Jalen Ramsey at the top of each level of their defense. Pretty decent I suppose. Can't wait to see who else the Rams add to the mix over the next 24 hours before the trade deadline, picks and cap room be damned. But even if they stop there, there is only one thing to say to the offensive linemen and quarterbacks playing the Rams the rest of the season.
