Joe Judge Issuing A 'Character Test' At Halftime Of Yesterday's Ass Kicking Is Another Example Of The Giants Bullshit JV Style Football
[Post] - “I challenged guys at halftime,’’ Judge said. “I wanted to see who’s going to finish the game. I wanted to see what type of fight some of these guys have.’’
Judge wanted to see who — if anyone — may quit in a game (and season) that had become a lost cause.
“We’ve got to do some things technically better, fundamentally better, better calls at times. But I wanted to see who was going to finish this game and who was going to fight.’’
Christ almighty, this is as low as it gets. I'm not even joking. This is a fucking laughing stock of a franchise right now and everything is run like JV football. From what we see on the field, to Joe Judge's rah-rah bullshit, to Dave Gettleman and Jason Garrett still having jobs and John Mara being too worried about shit talking than fixing his team. It sucks. It all just sucks. Oh you want to see how guys respond to the Rams kicking our ass? What about every other single loss the last few years? How about the fact we haven't improved one goddamn iota (I love saying iota) and refuse to change anything? That's smart. Why change when things are as low as it gets.
That's the annoying part. If John Mara truly cared about this franchise and competing in 2021 he'd do something. You fire Jason Garrett's clapping ass. You fire Dave Gettleman. You need to start showing us fans that you care. Instead we have reports of a *gasp* trash can being thrown. Instead we hear how John Mara led the way to put in the dumbest rule in sports - taunting.
Dave Gettleman preached hog mollies and the offensive line is how you win games. The offensive line is a joke - even before the injuries. There's been no improvement except for Andrew Thomas figuring some shit out this year. Where's the improvement there? This was supposed to be a speciality. The defense actually looked the part last season, this year they regressed more than ever. There's just no hope. Even Daniel Jones started to turn a corner and now he lost basically every receiver and again no hog mollies.
Then there's Joe Judge. I liked the hire just because I'm sick of hiring coaches who proved numerous times they can't be a head coach. Looking at you Pat Shurmur. The laps were funny at first and I enjoy Clem still running them. But where's the winning? Shit, where's the improvement. Instead he's making analytics jokes instead of having balls to go for it on 4th down when he should. Instead we're doing JV football character tests at halftime of an NFL game. It all just sucks. This franchise needs to be gutted and start over.
At least Eli was in our lives again.
