Aaron Rodgers Says He Called Jordan Love Throughout The Offseason To Keep Him In The Loop While The Chaos Unfolded in Green Bay

Well how about that? Turns out Rodgers is closer with his eventual successor than most of his family members. Despite this offseason from hell where he trolled the shit out of the NFL world and played the Packers front office like a fiddle, he found the space in his heart to keep Jordan Love in the know. Don't tell me this guy is a bad teammate, don't you dare.

Do have to wonder what exactly took place in those calls. Is Rodgers buzzing him in the middle of the night saying "I'm always watching you. Don't get comfy" and just hanging up. Maybe talking some Jeopardy, some NBA stuff. Mix in some Bachelor talk.

Nah but for real Favre never did anything close to that with him when he was contemplating retirement so it's nice Rodgers has gone down a different path. If there's one thing 12 has learned from his time in Green Bay it's do whatever you can to avoid doing what Favre did. I guess he kinda strayed from that plan this offseason, but the front office left him no choice. It does seem like his relationship with his teammates has never been better.

At the end of the day that game plan should be: don't be an asshole.

By the way, I heard Mark Murphy said he'd step down if Rodgers threw this in the net.

I'll never get sick of watching those kind of throws.
