Toronto Unites For Missing Butthole

And no, I know what you're all thinking and he is a butthole, but I'm not talking about Igor Kenk, 'the most hated man in Toronto'.

I'm talking about Dora, who is most certainly not a butthole, but who desperately needed one:

From blogTO:

A young kitten born with an incredibly rare birth defect may get a new lease on life thanks to the efforts of a Toronto rescue organization and cat lovers around the world.

Dora, an adorable little tortoiseshell, recently came into the care of Annex Cat Rescue at the tender age of just eight weeks old.

"On June 9th, Dora was brought to the vet because she was showing signs of severe constipation," wrote the rescue in an Instagram post. "Unfortunately, Dora was diagnosed with an extremely rare birth defect: an Imperforate Anus. In other words, she was born without a butthole."

Through a fundraiser page they set out to raise $6,500 to cover Dora's expenses but Torontonians (??) have gone above & beyond to donate $18,308 thus far.

She's had the butthole construction surgery now (I'm sure there's a more proper term for that) & is recovering, but unfortunately from the last update I saw it looks like she still can't poop. If you've ever been super constipated it's absolute nightmare fuel so I can only imagine how this little gal is feeling. Would donate my own butthole if I hadn't completely blown it out during childbirth. Happy Tuesday & best vibes to Dora's recovery taking a turn for the better. Lots of good people out there.
