Corey Kluber and Luke Voit Are Looking At Missing Months After Landing On The IL Today And I Am Sad

WHAT THE FUCK!!!

I didn't expect the greatest of news regarding Corey Kluber's right shoulder when the reports broke today. I guess he's not out for the year at this very moment so this could be worse? Still, the rotation just took a hit and Kluber won't be back until post All Star Break the way it looks.

That means Deivi Garcia and Mike King will have to step up and fill in for about 10-12 starts minimum. Luis Severino not back until around the ASB as well. Clarke Schmidt is working his way back but hasn't thrown off a mound yet. The latest with him is he's at 120 feet playing catch, pain free.

I thought the bad news would stop there. Well, on top of today's game being rained out (not exactly mad cause the Knicks are the main event tonight) then we get a Luke Voit bomb dropped on us. Not the ones I usually like coming from him.

What the actual fuck man. Not Luke. Not our sweet Luke. Grade 2 oblique strain feels like months as well. Just as he came back from the knee surgery too. That means a whole lot more of Mike Ford, DJ, and Andujar at first base. Not great Bob.

Whatever Go Knicks Go. Goddamit.
