Cody Bellinger Looks Healthy To Me, Crushes An Absolute No Doubt Homer In Rehab Start

Another rehab start for Cody Bellinger, another no-doubt home run. I think it's safe to say he's fully healed from that hairline fracture in his left leg. Seems like it's holding up well enough and he's feeling good, because he absolutely smokes this ball. We all know the rehab starts are just to see live pitching, get used to the speed, get some ABs and get out of there Cody thought he'd stop in, give out a couple souvenirs 400 feet away and get back to the bigs. It's just funny to think of a guy like Cody Bellinger going against some of these minor league guys. Like Jacob deGrom did the other day, it's child abuse for those guys. At least this pitcher can tell his kids he served up an absolute meatball to Belli. 

 The neat part of these rehab assignments is you get balls hit where they normally wouldn't, like on that little landing up there where the kids were playing. That happens to be a Belli landing zone, next time he's on rehab assignment those kids will remember to look out up there. In all seriousness it's scary that the Dodgers have started their run of playing well and Cody hasn't been there, so when he gets to the team this weekend they're going to be THAT much better, especially if he's still hitting like this.
