You'll NEVER Believe This But Turns Out Jeffrey Epstein's Prison Guards Lied About What Happened The Night He Did Not Kill Himself

Fox News - Two corrections officers who were supposed to be guarding Jeffrey Epstein's jail cell the night he committed suicide cut a deal with prosecutors Friday that will allow them to avoid jail time.

Under the deferred prosecution agreement, Tova Noel and Michael Thomas will admit that they falsified records and will be sentenced to 100 hours of community service, according to a letter written by federal prosecutors Friday.

Prosecutors said that the pair browsed the internet and slept at their desks just 15 feet from Epstein's cell instead of making their scheduled rounds every half-hour.

Under the deal, Noel and Thomas "admitted that they 'willfully and knowingly completed materially false count and round slips'" for the housing unit they were assigned to.

According to the original indictment, Thomas admitted to a supervisor that they "messed up" upon finding Epstein unresponsive, adding, "I messed up, she’s not to blame, we didn’t do any rounds."

One of the guards was working their second eight-hour shift of the day, while the other was working a fifth straight day of overtime. Many Bureau of Prisons workers regularly work overtime due to massive staffing shortages.

The pair will undergo supervised release, cooperate with the Justice Department's inspector general, and complete 100 hours of community service.

Prosecutors proposed a hearing for next Tuesday. Judge Analisa Torres still needs to approve the deferred prosecution agreement.

Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019, on federal sex trafficking charges. He was placed on suicide watch after he was found with a strip of bedsheet around his neck on July 23.

He was transferred to the prison's hospital wing for about a week then returned to a regular cell on July 30. Epstein's cellmate was transferred on Aug. 9, the day before Epstein was found unresponsive.

The New York City Medical Examiner ruled Epstein's death on Aug. 10 a suicide.

Talk about all-time Sportscenter Top 10 Friday Night news dumps. 9pm. So insulting you almost have to respect it.

Speaking of respect, you have to tip your cap to how little of it the 1%, and the puppet masters pulling the strings on everything have for us 99%ers. Zero.

"Oh yah, that super creepy guy that we had dead to rights on child prostitution and sex trafficking charges back in 2008 that had his case dismissed out of complete nowhere? One of the most connected guys in the history of the planet, who had dirt princes, presidents, billionaires, celebrities, you name it. Yah that guy. Yah, he upped and killed himself because he knew he was at the end of his rope. Wasn't getting out of this one. No, he didn't leave a suicide note. And oh, nope we don't have video recording sadly because our cameras coincidentally malfunctioned that night. Guest book? We forgot to do intake that night. Our bad. Oh well, sorry."

That's the story they tried to float to us. The silent majority with common sense who think everybody else is fucking insane, because they are. And you can't really blame them. Because what did everybody do? Posted some memes and witty shit with #epsteindidntkillhimself and moved on to the next Kardashian news cycle.

These two guys need to be fucking subpoenaed and fess up about who came into their cell block that night to take out this hit.

Their kids' kids are probably well taken care of with accounts set up in the Bahamas but doesn't matter. Plea deals here are absolute bullshit. It's the epitome of an inside job or them being in on it. Straight out of Casino with the cowboy yokel. If they weren't in on it there is negative infinity chance either of them is alive today.

Tell me you don't like my firm, tell me you don't like my idea, and tell me you don't like my fucking neck tie, but don't tell me Jeffrey Epstein killed himself.
