It's Never A Good Sign When This Is Your Catchers Reaction Once The Ball Is Hit

We got a first team reaction here by by the Eugene Emeralds catcher Brandon Martorano. Corbin Carroll of the Hillsboro Hops is at the plate and laced this ball to deep right field for a home run. You could tell by the sound that this ball was demolished and the catcher knew it too. Martorano literally jumps out of his stance as high as he can the second the ball is touched. You knew it was gone, I knew it was gone, he knew it was gone. Love the genuine reaction and he was also telling the pitcher to not even worry about watching because that ball is long gone. A full on leap out of his stance. Never a great sign with you're the pitcher and you see your catcher 8 inches off the ground with his hands on his head. This pitcher shouldn't feel too bad, Carroll is the 38th ranked prospect in baseball so he does this to a lot of people, pretty soon he'll be doing it in the bigs. I just wouldn't expect to see MLB catchers react like this. Love how Martorano wears his heart on his sleeve though, this is how I felt watching Ubaldo Jimenez pitch all those years.
