And Here We Go - Bob Baffert Is Now Immediately Suspended From Entering Horses To Race At Churchill Downs

Well that didn't take long. This is a huge deal, obviously for the fact that Medina Spirit won the Kentucky Derby but also that Bob Baffert is probably the face of horse racing. He's the one trainer that everyone knows, whether it's the glasses or the hair or the name or the wins. Dude is just flat out suspended now from racing at Churchill Downs. It's even gotten to the point where Graham Motion - a well known and successful trainer chimed in with a little shade: 

In terms of what happens to the Derby? I have no idea from a money standpoint. Good luck figuring that one out. It would be the second time a horse has been DQ'd for something like this. I said it before, but we need to clean the sport up .. bad. Get rid of the drugs and start actually punishing people for numerous positive tests within their horses. Stop with the $500 fine bullshit. Actually punish them, similar to what Motion says. That said, the thought of a horse having to stand there next to Baffert and do a press conference is fucking hilarious:
