John Mulaney Is Out Of Rehab, Announced Five Shows In New York City Next Week And All Of Them Sold Out In Less Than A Day

The comeback kid! John Mulaney announced his first stand-up shows since checking out of rehab in February — but even his biggest followers might not be able to snag tickets.

From May 10 to May 14, the 38-year-old comedian will be working out a new set, titled John Mulaney: From Scratch, at City Winery in New York City. Each of the five shows have already sold out, but hopeful fans are able to add their names to a waitlist.

Couldn't be happier for John Mulaney. Hearing the news of him heading to rehab back in December was sad and sucked. It's great to see someone come back onto their feet and blow our faces off with five sold out shows at a trendy winery in New York City. To get into the show you have to either be fully vaccinated or show a negative COVID test, and they're going to take your phones. I bet it's going to be extremely real and uncomfortable in the funniest way possible. I'll sell my soul to get in, but if I don't, we'll all have to wait to hear how awesome it was.

I gotta be honest. I saw this yesterday and I didn't want to blog it, because I was so upset that I didn't see it the minute it was announced and I've been trying to find someone to get me tickets. I saw it 23 hours later. I didn't want more people trying to get tickets. The shows were all already sold out. They're going to be at City Winery, one of my favorite places ever. I cannot stress this enough... I have to go. So, if you know anyone. I will go by myself. I'm not kidding.
