Way To Stay Relevant Baseball! MLB Unveils The Official All Star Game Logo At 8:51 PM On A Friday Night

We joke a lot about how baseball can't get with the times, they're garbage at marketing their stars, they're out of touch with their fans, but their move last night kind of cements all that. At 8:51 PM on a Friday night in the middle of a fantastic Rough N' Rowdy MLB decided to drop the new All Star Game logo. This is why we make fun of them. Manfred doesn't have a big press conference discussing the logo or anything, the MLB All Star Game twitter account tweets it out at 8:51 PM on a Friday night. They could have had a neat video talking about the logo and what it means, telling a story about the Rockies franchise, but nope they just decided to throw an image in a tweet and hit send at 8:51 PM on a Friday night.  And it's a shame too, because the logo itself is great, but they absolutely butchered the announcement and unveiling of it. Way to stay relevant, baseball! Awesome job again by Manfred and co.
