This Wesleyan Outfielder Made The Play Of The Year In College Baseball

HEAD ON A SWIVEL!!!!!!

Look, you can't plow yourself through a fence when you're the outfielder. You simply cannot. That's one of the fundamental rules of being a left fielder to begin with. Use 2 hands to catch the ball, yield to the centerfielder, and never plow yourself through the wall like the Kool Aid Man. 3 very simple rules, yet he callously failed the 3rd.

I will say though, it's not entirely his fault. This is why fields have warning tracks, like it's the literal reason that dirt or rubber is placed before the wall, so you can tell when you're getting close to the wall. This poor guy stood no chance, prob had the center fielder yelling "YOU GOT ROOM, YOU GOT ROOM" and then BAM.

Amherst would go on to win 12-7 and this homer helped start the rally. Still maybe the funniest thing I've seen on a baseball field in sometime. And how about none of his teammates even going out to check on him? Shortstop just stood in awe like his left fielder didn't just demolish a fence and the entire baseball program in one fell swoop.
