The New Trailer For Fast 9 Shows Off The Pontiac Space Shuttle
After the events of The Fate of the Furious (2017), Dominic Toretto and his family must face Dominic's younger brother Jakob, a deadly assassin, who is working with their old enemy Cipher, and who holds a personal vendetta against Dominic.
It feels like we have been waiting for this movie fucking FOREVER, and at this point, I just want to watch it. That said, I am not opposed to being teased with badass shit like this trailer does. We got a quick look at the Pontiac with a jet engine strapped to it in the first few teases, but the end of this trailer showed us what we are actually dealing with. A combination of Interstellar ship, the DeLorean and a lot of LSD.
While we don't know yet why exactly they need that ship, I can't wait to find out.
The rest of the action also looked fucking awesome. Plenty of hand-to-hand combat, people getting thrown through walls, giant trucks toppling over, planes catching cars in mid-air, explosions, EDM and more. That is what we love to see from this absurd franchise.
