The Cleveland Indians Are Operating At 30% Capacity (~12,000 People) And Still Can't Sell Out Their Games, Woof

"A few thousand tickets remain"

Well, that's one way to put it. Folks we're only at 30% capacity to begin with. The stadium holds 42,000, so even if we sold out every seat available, that's only about 12,000 people anyways. But get them while you still can, Indians fans!! The social media team is trying to act like they're selling like hotcakes. VERY limited space remains for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to watch Jordan Luplow hit .125. This is the best weather Ohio has had in months, and it's the first weekend series since 2019. And literally no one wants to go.

I know we're in the middle of the worst pandemic our eyes have ever seen, but the Indians shouldn't even worry about social distancing. Quit spending money on cleaning solution and signs about the protocols. Our fans naturally socially distance at the stadium because there's literally no one there. Are masks required when you're the only person in your section?

This is embarrassing. And a far cry from not that long ago when the Indians sold out the stadium for literally 5 and a half straight SEASONS.

That was back in the 90s. Hmmmm, I wonder what's changed? Could it PERHAPS be that when you get rid of all of your best players and fan favorites that people stop wanting to shell out outrageous amounts of their hard earned money to watch the team play? And is it possible that trading away all of our good players could also be the reason why the Indians are currently in dead last in the division? Let me be the first to say that I'm SHOCKED that no one wants to come watch Jake Bauers bat a blistering .142

Call me crazy but I think the Dolans have to be getting up there with Art Modell as worst / most hated owner in Cleveland history. I know Modell up and moved the team, but like, these people don't even care about winning. It's clear as day with the way they refuse to spend money to make us competitive. And I don't know anything about what impacts the bottom line for owners, but does being competitive not help? Does selling tickets not help? Ray Charles could've seen it coming that the Indians would struggle with attendance this year.
