Another Day, Another Milestone- Alex Ovechkin Has Now Passed Brett Hull And Is 2nd All Time In PP Goals

It's crazy. It seems like every time he scores now he passes some legend in the record books for some goal scoring mark. It's nearly every goal in some category, and tonight's was no different. Ovi loaded up from the dot as he is one to do, shot it 150 MPH, and passed Brett Hull to sit 2nd all time in PPGs. Now he is only a mere 9 goals away from sitting atop the ALL TIME power play goal tally sheet, and in significantly fewer games.

I love doing these blogs because I want everything down, documented, signed, sealed and delivered about how remarkable he is. I don't want any achievement to go unnoticed. Ovi is so good, so dominant, that every time he passes a legend or sets a new record, I love reflecting on just how good he is.

And don't forget- that was goal number 726, which means he is now only 5 goals away from tying Marcel Dionne for 5th all time in goals. And then Hull is next at 741. It's crazy. He is simply too good for words. Here's to 10…15 more years of this. Never leave us, please.
