The Mountain From 'Game Of Thrones' And His Bitter Rival Are Having A Boxing Match Because They Won't Stop Accusing Each Other Of Cheating At Weightlifting

[Post] - The strongman freak is set to meet bitter rival and former Strongman world champion Eddie Hall in the boxing ring in September. In May, Bjornsson beat Hall’s world record deadlift to set a new mark at 1,104 pounds The pair have long been engaged in a war of words with each previously accusing the other of cheating.

The 6-foot-7 monster dropped 40 pounds in one month after the official announcement that he and “The Beast” would settle their grievances in a sanctioned boxing fight this year.

You know what? This checks out. I know I'm not a 6'7" monster that deadlifts a thousand pounds, but I know these people. If you're a competitive weightlifter and have a rival, you fight. Those are rules. If they really wanted to settle it, they should have done Rough n Rowdy. Imagine these two in West Virginia? A term that's thrown around here but completely applies - electric. Look at these guys.

Also the least shocking thing is this:

The fight was ridiculed across the boxing world when first announced after videos emerged of the two hulks appearing to have no speed whatsoever in their strikes.

No speed? Of course there's no speed. These guys are fucking monsters. They are brut strength and that's it. The Mountain has actually boxed before:

Call me crazy but that's a guy I don't want to fight. I don't care about speed. I don't care about any of that. I just don't want to get hit by anyone that size. Not at 34, not at 18. I'd be sprinting around the ring and ducking for cover. Also good to know there's been shit talking leading up to this fight:

Really we just need more gigantic humans settling their grievances with a fight. Next time make it happen at RnR.
