The Most Elite Scorer In The Nation? It's Gotta Be Cornhole Pro Steven Bernacet After He Drilled 27 Bags In A Row

When you first start playing cornhole, you're happy every time you just get one bag in the hole. Then you start playing a little more and start to understand the bags a little better. You work some strategy into your game and you get fired up after a 4-bagger round.

Then Steven Bernacet steps up to the board and sinks 27 in a row to make you feel like a worthless piece of trash. I mean what a performance put on by the big fella. You could round up all the nerds at MIT, tell them to create a cornhole playing robot, and they'd never be able to come up with anything that could replicate the surgical precision and natural power of Steven Bernacet. A match like that requires heart, it requires balls, and it requires countless hours spent in the backyard gassing beers and burgers while getting those reps in.

Now here's what I'm curious about. What is the etiquette here when it comes to the opponent throwing that final bag? To me, it looked like he purposefully launched it long to make sure he didn't knock in that last bag for Bernacet to make it 28 in a row. I get that he's just trying to keep the score down and only give up 3 points in that round instead of 6. But I feel like when you're playing against a guy who is going on a streak like that, that's a greasy move. Shoot your best shot and let the bags fall where they may. Let the big dog eat.
