Lido is perfectly positioned on a busy corner on Harlem’s Restaurant Row. Inside there is seating for up to 70 with green leather banquettes and a large bar. There are daily specials, so customers who come three times a week always have something new to discover.

We have been a mainstay in the restaurant scene in Harlem for 10 years. Our Executive Chef, Serena Bass is a James Beard award winner. We have very little turn over in our staff, most of whom are from the community. We have a ton of regulars from the community and many who travel to see us. Up until Covid happened we were running smoothly and we have high hopes that we will again. Our landlord has been flexible with us, but due to the 35% capacity and the many new expenses building outside seating areas ($30K) masks, sanitizer, updating the HVAC system, this has been the most challenging time by far. We did receive the first round of PPP but we were closed at the time. 75% had to be spent on wages so I used the majority of it with my staff who were not eligible for unemployment, cleaning, painting etc. We are hopeful for a second round of PPP but have yet to hear anything from the SBA.
