Health Officials Are Pushing To Change The Term "Breast Milk" To "Chest Milk" To Be More Inclusive

CINCINNATI (WKRC) Some health experts are asking to substitute the term "chest milk" or "human milk" for "breast milk", in order to be more inclusive to transgender and non-binary parents.

UK health officials officially released a statement instructing nurses at two hospitals to stop saying "breastfeeding" and "breast milk", and instead use more gender-inclusive phrases.

This is one of those situations that I really don't actually care what people call breast milk or themselves or anything like that. Knock yourself out. Having said that…c'mon.

Sometimes you have to be able to call things what they actually are and milk that comes from breasts can be called breast milk without being offensive or exclusive. I find the word "big" to be exclusive when placed in front of the word "penis" but you don't see me trying to change language so it benefits me and I feel more included. I just grind my way through life knowing where I stand which sucks, but that's part of being alive.

Something to consider

You don't need milk from your breasts to be a mother. Remember that, folks.
