Drew Brees Isn't Heading Into Retirement Without A Fight

Drew Brees didn't hear no bell! Sure he may have been throwing wounded ducks during the playoffs after his shoulder rib injury sapped whatever arm power he had left as a 42-year-old that basically turned him into Weird Haircut Seth with a zillion dollar cap hit.

But that's not gonna stop Drew Brees from putting in the work to prove to Sean Payton that he can still play! Drew is doing whatever it takes to keep that QB1 job over a guy that was listed as a Tight End in fantasy leagues this year and the quarterbacking grab bag known as Jameis Winston. Did you hear Drew's trainer losing his mind over the time on the stopwatch? Drew set a record! And look at the man pushing those weights.

That's definitely Drew Brees…right? I don't see the signature birth mark on his face and his hair seems to be fuller as well as darker. But even if it's not, that means there is a a chance Drew hired someone else to do this workout for him or pulled some tricks with plastic surgery along with some new hair to convince the Saints he is 20 years younger.

It doesn't matter if Drew Brees is actually dragging weights like the Hardo from your local gym, has a bizarro version of himself posting workout videos, or went Full Creed Bratton (Sidenote: NEVER go Full Creed Bratton). Brees doing any of those things proves he at least has the fire in his belly to fight for his starting job, even though every single person retired him in their minds after that Bucs game.

Orrrrrrrrr Brees just went the Jason Witten route up top and is putting in work so he can fill out his suit nicely for NBC.

P.S. Brees showing up to camp jacked out of his mind and stealing Taysom Hill's short yardage back role would be the greatest twist in the history of sports.
