Love The Move By Melo To Ignore The Free Throw Going On So He Could Tell Some Dork In The Stands To Shut His Ass Up

I feel like we're seeing more interactions between fans and players lately, especially with the limited attendance numbers. If you want to talk shit, the player is going to hear that. Now, I have NO problem with fans talking shit. It's part of the right of being a fan. My problem is the fan telling Melo to retire. That's boring as shit. There's nothing unique there. It's as vanilla as vanilla gets. Give me something creative here. Learn from our friend in Atlanta

That's how you get creative. Simply telling Melo to retire? For what? So he can get into the Hall of Fame in 5 years? Oh, what a shame. And yes, Melo will be a Hall of Famer and likely a first ballot Hall of Famer. Title in college, three Olympic golds, currently 12th all-time in scoring, 7 All-NBA teams, etc. That's a Hall of Famer no matter what you think of his game. That's why I love the move by Melo here. That free throw didn't matter. It was the first of two, basically a dead ball. His focus was telling a fan to shut his ass up. Again, it's his right. If a fan talks shit, players get to respond. We should encourage this because shit talking needs to come back. The world is too soft these days when people talk shit. It's part of everything - from sports, to hanging out with friends to flirting. Talk shit.
