JK, the Derrick Rose Era was a flat out disaster like pretty much every other Knicks era of the 21st century, with the highlights coming from the bonehead tweets by the Knicks after D Rose straight up ghosted without any explanation.

Actually if we are being honest, this tweet was the best moment of Derrick Rose's time with the Knicks.

The difference between those Knicks and these Knicks is that Tom Thibodeau is the coach.

Alright, I don't know if Thibs just likes having his guys around or he wants to make sure Derrick Rose will never walk at his kid's graduation but I am fine giving him whoever he wants at this point since he is currently leading us out of the depths of basketball hell, as long as he agrees that Immanuel Quickley will not play one second less than he is currently playing, which is already not enough as it is. There's no way Thibs will lean on playing old veterans over exciting rookies! Oh yeah and Joakim Noah cannot be allowed to return here unless he agrees to waive his stretch provision that will somehow STILL be on the cap next year. What a fucking disaster that is/was.

You know what? No more negativity. Life is good as a Knicks fan. We have a team we can root for, young players to get excited about, a coaching staff that seems to know what the hell they are doing, and no more Dennis Smith Jr. plays that cause us to rip our hair out while remembering the Kristaps Porzingis trade that suddenly doesn't look so bad. Speaking of DSJ, this old tweet getting found on draft night is probably the highlight of his young career as well.

DSJ clearly had no chance of making the rotation any time soon considering he had just accepted a demotion to the G-League and the Knicks have a ton of draft capital. Fuck it, I'm bringing the graphic back!

Figuring out what the hell is going to happen with Elfrid Payton would be nice since Rose is going to potentially dip into his minutes as well as Austin Rivers'. But as long as this man is in charge, I have complete faith everything will work out just fine.
