Lake Michigan looks like the most treacherous waters in the world. The entire Eastern Seaboard is under a state of emergency and only a few brave bloggers have been able to make their way to work. America is absolutely buried right now. This, to me, is the most miserable part of the entire year. There's no holiday spirit. Most people have quit on their new year's resolution. The only holiday in sight is Valentine's Day which makes single people miserable and people in relationships feel pressure to do something that never lives up to the hype.
