Wisconsin-Whitewater OL and Part-Time Lumberjack Quinn Meinerz Is the Star of the Senior Bowl
You may not like it, but this is what peak male performance looks like.
I love the Senior Bowl, because we always get something awesome out of it. Whether it's a really cool story of a player you didn't know about before or something like our new chonk king Quinn Meinerz, this week in Mobile gives us something great every year.
And in 2021, it's Wisconsin-Whitewater center Quinn Meinerz, who looks like a Madden create-a-player — if anyone created an offensive lineman — became a real-life NFL prospect. I thought this guy was a star just from seeing what he looks like and what he's done on the field so far this week. He's been mauling people.
But then I did a little bit more research and found what might be my favorite video ever uploaded to YouTube.
Oh my God, I want the Atlanta Falcons to draft this guy more than I want air to breathe. Y'all can have all your diva SEC guys with the fancy weight rooms and nutritionists planning out their every meal. I'll take the D3 guy who spends his off-seasons lugging propane tanks and pushing over trees.
I hope every NFL franchise is taking notes down there this week, because this guy is going to be a star. He's gotten on the radar of professional football teams by training as a lumberjack, can you imagine what he'll do on an NFL weight training regimen? This guy will be paving holes through every defense in the League.
Quinn Meinerz is my new favorite football player and I don't care who knows it.
