Piers Morgan Is An Asshole: Posts The Most Absurd Memorial Tweet To Larry King

I know the Brits can have pretty dry humor but I feel like this is one of those classic Too Soon moments. Ink isn’t even dry on the death certificate and Piers Morgan is taking what appears to be a long awaited victory lap. Some of you may like the controversy but to me it’s tasteless. Conflict is way better and you don’t get that in a memorial tweet. Piers had years to send that tweet about Larry King and he waited til his passing. That’s bush league. That’s weak sauce.

I’m not the biggest expert on cable anchor relations but you have to imagine everyone hates everyone else’s guts. Like they’re all competing against each other in every respect without any of the camaraderie of the PGA or PBA tour. All the individualism, none of the professional congeniality. For that I blame BIG PHARMA just kidding idk who to blame but that one usually works. On that topic are there such thing as pro-Big PHARMA people? The way you see people handing out flat earth pamphlets or asking for rain forest donations. Sometimes I wonder if there’s a grassroots advocacy for the big boys of the world. Like a pro war hipster who wants more reliable access to fossil fuels. That would be an interesting interview.

Anyways. Piers Morgan sure sounds like he’s been holding that one in the drafts for awhile, patiently waiting his chance to take a post mortem shot. If you like to hold a grudge, that’s probably a pretty impressive move. But to me you should fire that one off while he can still volley back and forth. Make it a fair fight Piers. Maybe your show really did suck.
