Have We Found Out What Product Shaq And Scottie Are Plugging During This Fake Instagram Feud?

It all started with this Instagram from Shaq talking about the all time Lakers team beating all time Bulls team and then went on from there.

Call me a cynical asshole but I’ve been on the internet for far too long to not have my spidey senses on full alert for this one. So you’re telling me Shaq and Scottie Pippen just woke up one morning and decided to drop “OMG FATALITIES” on each other? That just happened out of nowhere? Ok, not buying it. Can’t wait for the two of them to appear on Kimmel or have some commercial or product they’re trying to shove down our throat.

*Empty Gym, Shaq appears out of nowhere and dunks ball, grimaces in pain*

*Cloud of smoke by the hallway, in comes Scottie Pippen*

Scottie – “Hey pal, I know you and I have had some SERIOUS AGGRAVATION on the internet these in the past, looks like you got it in real life too”

Shaq – “Yeah”

Scottie – “Well you know what cools aggravation both on and off the court? These new icy hot full body strips, here try it out”

Shaq – “Whoa, thanks Scottie, I feel like a new man, wanna get the boys back together and settle this debate once and for all?”

Scottie – “IN!”

*End Scene, roll corny ass music*

This has slick PR guy who thinks he knows how to make viral things happen written all over it. You can either be fooled and scream “Mic drop” on twitter over and over or you can ride with me and the smart crew and if it turns out that we’re wrong, just trust  that enough time will have passed that no one will actually care anyway. The choice is yours.

Also for the record, I’m not going to be a total homer and say the all time Bulls would beat the all time Lakers but that lineup is way too big, small ball is in now, Shaq probably doesn’t even realize that, idiot.

PS

ESPN Classic was showing the 2000 Finals the other day and I caught myself watching almost the entire game. Shaq in his prime was something else. We’ll never see a big man like him again, just completely unstoppable. He averaged a 30 and 15 for two consecutive playoff runs. That series against Indiana he went 43 and 19, 40 and 24, 33 and 13, 36 and 21, 35 and 11, 41 and 12.
