Rookie Marshawn Lynch Giving a Tour of the Buffalo Applebee's and Dave and Buster's Is A+

He retired a year ago so I guess he doesn't count as a current athlete, but I can't think of an NFL player in recent memory that is as universally beloved as Marshawn Lynch. I don't see how it would be possible to dislike this guy. The way he walks into Applebee's, how enthralled he is with the soda gun, the way he says "ambiance" and "decor"; it's all amazing.

While your team's best players are out at the club blowing all their money on strippers and alcohol, Marshawn is enjoying half-price apps after 9 p.m. and then heading over to D&B's for some Skee-Ball to cap off a perfect night. I'm more of a Chili's guy myself, but I respect any man who appreciates the understated brilliance of the American casual dining establishment.

I am unquestionably in the 99th percentile of Americans when it comes to love for Peyton Manning, but if ESPN is going to pay him whatever ungodly amount it's surely doling out for him to do Peyton's Places, Marshawn Lynch needs to have a show yesterday. I'd watch him do literally anything he wants. Just watching him pour himself a Coca-Cola is electric.

I feel like Marshawn and I would be great friends. Going to Applebee's — or Chili's — followed by Dave and Buster's sounds like almost too much fun packed into one night. Only the real ones would understand.

You can have fun and still take care of your mentals and your chicken.
