Playboy Model Who Just Wanted To Be Your Average Girl On a Dating App Had Her Bumble Profile Rejected For 'Being Too Hot'
A Playboy model claims she was rejected by Bumble because she is "too hot".
Tahlia Paris, 24, from Los Angeles, California, joined the dating app after her last relationship ended as she found out her partner had been married.
The Playboy model has been single for four years and was hoping that online dating would be the solution to finding a man to spend her life with. But instead of date requests, Tahlia claims she received an email from Bumble when her photos were removed by the app's moderators – which the model believes was due to her looking "too hot" as they did "not break" the guidelines.
This story saddens me to the core. Tahlia Paris may be a gorgeous Playboy model who you imagine would have little to no trouble attracting the eye of the opposite sex, but is that what she wants? Paris just had to end a relationship after discovering her partner was married and was looking for a new start. She hit up the popular dating app Bumble to start fresh and find an honest fella. As she created her profile and posted a few pictures of herself, Bumble took down her account basically saying she was 'too hot' for the app.
“It happened three or four times to different pictures and Bumble only allowed one of my pictures to stay up, which was really hurting my odds in the dating app world. The photos I posted very were basic. One was a selfie of myself, one was a picture a friend of mine had taken at the beach. I tried to keep it very PG and not model-esque at all. I wanted guys to not stop at my profile because I’m a professional model but because I was just another average girl looking to date. I even kept my Instagram and everything private and separate from Bumble. I’ve had guys in the past solely try to hook up with me because of my presence on social media."
All she wanted to do was appear like your average girl looking to date. She has 900k followers on IG, but didn't care to show that off and here comes Bumble ripping her down and telling her she can't be on the app. Horrible. I feel for Tahlia. This is a horrible injustice. Can we let a girl live for once! Tahlia just wants to swipe right a bit and potentially find her night in shining armor. I see no wrong in that! Just because she's stunning doesn't mean she can't be on the app. Get it together Bumble.
I totally understand wanting to hide her popularity and avoid guys just chasing that, but can you imagine matching with Tahlia and having a flirty conversation with her only to later find out she has 900,000 followers on Instagram and looks like this??? Lord have mercy.
