LETS SAVE THIS FUCKING BOWLING CENTER!!!
It's been an amazing start for the Barstool Fund no doubt. Every time I look it seems to go up tens of thousands of dollars. It's absolutely amazing to think about the impact this company has had on a national scale. It's at the point where Dave has legitimately built a community of people that look out for each other. It's one of the best things Barstool has ever done no questions asked.
And now on a deeper personal level, we get to add a bowling center into the mix.
How the fuck do you guys expect me to feel? Nothing says more deserving than family bowling center in suburban Scranton, Pennsylvania. My uncle used to run a family bowling center/bar in Evergreen Park. He put his heart and soul into that business and one day it was just gone. That was 10 years ago and the neighborhood still mourns its loss. Probably always will. Makes me sick to even think about all the good times we missed out on. That's the personal side of this. I fucking love bowling and there's never been a harder time on the sport.
I'd love to figure out the bowling scene in Wilkes-Barre in 2021. Maybe someone local can help me throw a day-off fundraiser at this Chacko's next year? Slide into those twitter DM's and let's get it going. I want to get on the ground floor of Chacko's and sling some Miller Lites with these fine people.
