Introducing 'Neutral Team': Russian Athletes Were Doping So Much The Country Is Now Kinda, Sorta Banned From The Next Two Olympics

[Source] - Russia will not be able to use its name, flag and anthem at the next two Olympics or at any world championships for the next two years after a ruling Thursday by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Russian athletes and teams will still be allowed to compete at next year’s Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, as well as world championships including the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, if they are not banned for or suspected of doping.

One win for Russia is the proposed team name at major events. The name “Russia” can be retained on uniforms if the words “Neutral Athlete” or equivalents like “Neutral Team” have equal prominence, the court said.

BOOOOOOOO!! BOOOOOOOO!!! I hate this so much. Why? The Olympics need Russia. They are the ultimate bad guy. You see Russia and you start cheering against them. I don't care if they were the USSR, you're reminded of how awesome Miracle on Ice was. I'm a huge Olympics guy. Love it all, especially the Summer Olympics. Give me track and field. Give me gymnastics. Give me basketball and soccer and swimming. I'm addicted to the Olympics. Seeing 'Neutral Team' or 'Neutral Athlete' on Russia's red, white and blue jerseys is going to be so damn stupid. I have no idea how this is even going to look. They can have Russia as long as they have Neutral Athlete? Need them to go Russia on the front and Neutral Athlete in big letters on the back like it's their last name. 

It's not just the Olympics either. It's the World Cup. It's the World Championships. Fuck that. I'm far from a hockey guy, but I get a little American boner when I see our red white and blue vs that shitty red, white and blue. I need to see Team USA vs Russia. I don't want any neutral team or neutral athlete bullshit.

It's part of what makes Russia the ultimate bad guy. Everyone in the world knows they are doping in every goddamn sport. It's why we want to beat their ass left and right. Now no Russian flat or anthem? Putin is going to lose his mind. He might sabotage the entire Olympics. You're telling me this is going to be the same vs Neutral Team? 

I don't think so.
