Kanye's Shitty Cover Of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Was Mashed Up With Freddie Mercury's And Now Kanye May Never Smile Again

For whatever it’s worth, I actually like Kanye. He’s a talented musician who takes himself way too seriously but he tries different things and genuinely seems to care about what he puts out there, so that’s all I judge him on. But at some point you need to recognize your limitations and this piss poor attempt at “Bohemian Rhapsody” would fall under that umbrella. You don’t come out of the stands and try to shoot a 3 on LeBron, you don’t rev your engine at a stoplight if you see Jimmie Johnson, and you don’t try to warble one of the most iconic vocal performances of the last few decades from an incredible live performer when you’re a rapper with no singing range. Freddie Mercury’s patronizing laugh in the video couldn’t be more perfect. Hopefully this is a rare lesson learned for Kanye. Next time he can save the off rhythm warbling for autotuned hooks.

On the plus side, at least there’s someone in Kanye’s family who has the credibility to perform like Freddie Mercury off the stage:
