It Seems As Though Evander Kane Is Dead Serious About Fighting Jake Paul

It seems as though Evander Kane actually wants to get in the ring with Jake Paul after his KO win over former NBA player Nate Robinson last night. Kane has taken to both Instagram and Twitter to voice his displeasure with the Robinson-Paul fight and has even gone as far as challenging Paul to a fight in August of 2021 in Las Vegas. I'm sure the Sharks were pleased to hear that.

First things first…this would be awesome. I am ALL IN for this. Let Jake Paul step in the ring with someone who has experience fighting and lets see how it goes. And thats not to take anything away from him, I think that kid can actually chuck em and has a bright future in the sport. But if he has going to be fighting former pro athletes, lets see what he can do against someone who is 1. his size and 2. has some experience.

NHL.com has Kane listed at 6'2'' 210lbs while Jake Paul is 6'1'' and fought last night at 189lbs. So a MUCH closer size comparison to the 5'9'' Nate Robinson.

And like I said before, I'm not here to take anything away from Jake Paul. I actually think the kid has a strong chance of getting in the ring with McGregor before it's all said and done. But him vs Evander Kane would be a fucking show. My bias would lean towards Kane, being that he's a hockey guy, is bigger than Paul and is a tough son of a bitch. But who knows. I can't imagine the Sharks even allowing this to happen but there is no question that this would be entertaining as hell.

Kane isn't the only NHLer to call out Paul as well. Robin Lehner was giving it to both Paul and Kane on twitter last night.

Reavo even joined in on the fun. The Golden Knights forward called out Biz for Round n Rowdy followed by a shot at Paul. (Side note…Biz vs Reavo would be the most electric RnR fight of all time. Two heavyweights just beating the piss out of each other.) Back to Reaves-Paul, Reavo would eat Jake Paul's lunch, lets be real. Guy is a savage.

Regardless, leave it to the hockey guys to step up to the plate after the basketball guys let us down. Sick league.
