Some Well Deserved Aubrey Plaza Appreciation After She Stole The Show In Her Latest Christmas Movie 'Happiest Season'

It's that time of the year where I watch every Christmas-related movie to try and rediscover the hope that one day maybe I won't die alone. Listen, it's the effort that counts right? At the end of the day this is the most detestable time of the calendar, but fake shit can help us forget that. Well, one new movie that I've stumbled across is Happiest Season on Hulu. It revolves around Mackenzie Davis bringing her girlfriend Kristen Stewart home to meet her parents for the holidays, the only issue is that they don't know she's gay and she refuses to tell them, which spirals everything out of control. Honestly I thought the movie was pretty good, but the two best characters in the movie aren't Davis nor Stewart. Nope, Stewart's best friend Dan Levy is hilarious and Davis' ex-girlfriend Aubrey Plaza steals the show.

Her character Riley is head and shoulders above everyone else. Now I'm not here to tell you in 2020 that you need to take notice of this Aubrey Plaza person. We all know who Aubrey Plaza is, whether it's from Parks and Rec, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Dirty Grandpa, or that one video that leaked on the internet. You know what video I'm talking about. I don't think I can legally post it in here, but if you type her name into any porn site I'm sure you'll find it no problem.

Anyways if you're looking for a new Christmas rom/com go check out Happiest Season on Hulu. You'll come away loving Riley and probably wishing she had a better outcome. I stan Aubrey Plaza, especially this clip with Elizabeth Olsen that has escaped me until this very moment.

SPOILER ALERT….

It's complete bullshit she doesn't end up with Kristen Stewart's character. Mackenzie Davis sucks and shoulda been kicked to the curb. Nonsense.
