Chris Pratt Is Officially Joining 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

Chris Pratt is joining Chris Hemsworth in the fourth Thor installment from Marvel Studios.

Details for the latest Marvel production are as scarce as Loki's scruples, but it is now becoming quite the stuffed superhero sandwich. On top of Chris Hemsworth as the erstwhile God of Thunder, the call sheet already has Natalie Portman reprising the role of Jane Forster, who will become a Thor, Tessa Thompson returning as Valkyrie and ruler of Asgard, and Christian Bale in a mystery role. Filmmaker Taika Waititi will also once again be voicing the alien Korg

This doesn't come as a total surprise considering the fact that they were together when we left off with Endgame, but this is still awesome news. Thor and the Guardians (Asguardians of the Galaxy, as many have pointed out) had electric chemistry (no pun intended) every time they were on screen together. Both Hemsworth and Pratt have a great combination of action-star looks and fantastic comedic delivery which makes them a great on-screen duo. I don't know what this will mean for the Guardians 3 timeline, which was already pushed back due to the James Gunn firing/unfiring, but the brains at Marvel obviously know what they're doing

Here is the base idea of what we're looking at

Love and Thunder is rumoured to be inspired or loosely based upon a run of Thor comics, written by Jason Aaron, which sees Jane Foster take on the mantle of Thor when the original Thor loses the ability to lift his hammer. The comic also sees Foster fight cancer. So, we will see a female Thor in Love and Thunder.

It is slated for release in Feb of 2022, but that will likely be pushed back.

The first year without a Marvel property(not counting Agents of SHIELD which had a solid finale) is weird…

Disney's pockets arent hurting, tho, so BUY A SWEATSHIRT.
