Did Australia Just Give Us Our First NBA Free Agency Leak?

When it comes to NBA Free Agency, you have to have your eyes everywhere when it comes to news/leaks. Everything is on the table. Could be a player emoji, could be a normal Shams/Woj bomb, maybe an IG story, and sometimes you get this. As of writing this blog, if you were to go on the NBA Store in Australia you'll see this jersey is for sale. Now you may not know this, but Paul Millsap is not currently on the Dallas Mavericks. He was on the Nuggets and is one of the better UFA in the free agent market. With Free Agency right around the corner and there already being reports that contracts are already flying around they just can't announce anything yet, this does make me wonder if we have our first big NBA free agency news.

Everyone knows Australia operates in the future. I remember going to Brisbane a few summers ago and it was fantastic. Blogging from the future while I was there was crazy, and I cannot recommend going there enough. It's awesome. But seeing as how this is the official NBA store from a place that is 100% in the future, I'm inclined to believe this is real. If you were to just pick a random person for this jersey, how would you not go Luka? Or Porzingis? You choose Paul Millsap just by chance? No way. That doesn't pass the smell test. Especially not when Millsap has been linked to the Mavs before this image leaked.

If you're the Nuggets, this would be unfortunate. The Mavs are a team that's chasing you in the standings, and snagging Millsap on what I would assume would be a reasonable deal would certainly sting. He's not the same All Star caliber player, but he's still serviceable. Millsap wouldn't need a massive role in DAL, and he does provide some Porzingis insurance if that knee is still iffy.

Now, maybe there is just a big Mavs fan that has access to the back end of the NBA Store website and he is just trying to speak this move into existence. I won't rule that out. You have to do whatever you can during free agency to help your favorite team. But I'm starting to think that Cuban has already pulled this move off and I like the fit. He'll help the Mavs defensively which they desperately need, a good veteran presence, he can shoot threes, this would be the exact type of addition I would want as a Mavs fan while hopefully, it doesn't ruin your cap moving forward.

All I know is I'm ready for all the free agency leaks, doesn't matter how we get em. This is the best time of the NBA offseason and I'm ready for all the chaos.
