Meet Cersei's Body Double From Her Walk of Shame In Game Of Thrones

Decider - For the last week, people have been buzzing about who’s dead, who’s alive, and what’s coming up next on Game of Thrones. People have also been buzzing about that harrowing walk of shame that Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) took through the streets of King’s Landing. While fans have almost universally praised Headey’s brave performance, some people might be surprised to learn that wasn’t Headey’s nude body. An American actress namedRebecca Van Cleave – click here for a photo – was Headey’s body double.  How did Game of Thrones pull this off? Why didn’t Headey strip down herself? And should knowing that Headey didn’t subject herself to the same physical shame as Cersei detract from her performance? EW.com tracked down Van Cleave and got the scoop. Van Cleave, pictured below, was picked from over 1,000 actresses who auditioned for the role of Cersei’s body and told EW that “It was actually the most comfortable casting I’ve ever had, considering.” Well, that’s good to hear.

Well, theres a pleasant surprise. For some reason I fully expected this chick to be a butterface. Like Cersei is the pretty face and she was all tits. Then you see the name Rebecca Van “Cleave” and you’re convinced this chick is nothing but boobs.

Nope! Very pretty girl. How about that? Good for you, Becca. You did an absolutely phenomenal job of being Cersei’s T, A, and V. A much better job than the show did with the CGI. Cersei’s facial expressions – A+. Rebecca Van Cleave’s body – A+. Game of Thrones special effects people – F minus.

But gotta tip my cap to the show’s casting director. How do I get that job? Need to look at over 1,000 actresses before you find the right girl to play the Queen’s tits. What a life.
