Nature Is Healing Now That Subway Riders Are Chewing Up Food And Feeding Their Birds Like Mama Birds

Covid had us in the first half, not gonna lie. There were times over the last few months that the city got so barren, it was mistaken for dead. But New York did what it always does when times get tough: Brush itself off, stand on its feet, and get weird. People returning to the streets and the subways is nice because it shows that there are still people willing to live in overpriced cramped squalor. But oddly enough, things can only truly get normal again once the abnormal show up and people that bring birds out in public are about as abnormal as it gets.

Exhibit A:

I love Marty, but even he would tell you his brain is different than most people. I'm not sure if the difference in his brain is what makes him a bird person or being a bird person is what makes his brain different. But Mush is a straight-laced everyday Joe compared to this lunatic playing mama bird. However, she is as integral to the NYC ecosystem as the rich, the poor, and the people in the middle trying to ignore idiots chewing up food for their birds during their soul-crushing commute.
