Are You Ready For America's Game Of The Week?? - Colts Vs Browns Pregame Prediction

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to America's game of the week. The 3-1 Boys in Blue enter the Dawg Pound to take on the 3-1 Browns in what looks to be the most unpredictable game of the week. This may feel like a "who gives a shit" game but to us Colts and Browns fans, this is like a Divisional playoff game. Both teams are coming off great wins and both teams surprisingly look like dark horses in the AFC championship run. I would say there were some stakes made between Jeff D Lowe and I, but never replied to my text.

His loss. Here are my 3 keys to beating the Cleveland Browns.

1. Continue To Play Like The #1 Defense In The League

This Colts defense has been unbelievable. Sure we haven't played against the toughest teams yet, but I can't remember the last time the Colts had a defense ranked #1 in any category. Today is going to be a true test as we are going up against the #1 rushing team without our leader Darius Leonard. With Nick Chubb out, Kareem Hunt who's coming off 2 TD's against the Cowboys will most certainly be getting more touches than usual today. OBJ and Jarvis will be a problem too but I believe if we can contain Kareem and the run game, Baker will eventually fold against us.

2. Protect Philip Rivers

For a guy who has 9 kids, this is the one day Old Man Rivers is going to need GREAT protection. LT Anthony Castonzo is out at the worst possible time since we're going up against Myles Garrett. If you don't know who Myles is, he's just a 6'4, 272 DE who's leading the league in sacks and forced fumbles. I trust our guards Big Q, Ryan Kelly, and Mark in protecting Rivers and helping the run game, but this may be a bad day for our tackles Braden Smith and Le'Raven Clark. If we can protect Rivers, then he'll be able to torch the #30 ranked defense in passing yards allowed.

3. Make Our Field Goals

I say this every week and will continue to say it. As long as we make our field goals and extra points, we have a 99.9% chance of winning our games. Not only is Rodrigo Blankenship leading the NFL in scoring but Hot Rod is off to a Hot Start going 12/14 on FG's and 100% on XP's. Hit your field goals and we'll have no worries of having any game come down to the last play.

Prediction: Colts 25 - Browns 22

Of course I got my Boys in Blue winning, but it won't be pretty. The Colts haven't lost a game since Jim Irsay almost attempted to lift that 315 pound bar and I don't see that momentum ending in Cleveland. Go Horse and go Jeremy Chinn.
