Disney/Pixar's Latest Movie Is Going To Drop Directly To Disney+ On Christmas

A musician who has lost his passion for music is transported out of his body and must find his way back with the help of an infant soul learning about herself.

The last few weeks have been a huge bummer for movies, with basically everything getting pushed back either deep into 2021 or indefinitely. This news, however, is basically a shining light in the void.

Disney is basically the one studio that can weather this storm while still giving us pigs some slop to much on via streaming. Sometimes that means sub-par stuff like 'Mulan', but sometimes that means much more promising projects like this and Mando season 2. This movie gives off big time 'Inside Out' vibes, which isn't surprising considering it has the same director. I was a big fan of that movie and adding in a musical element can only make it better. I'm also comfortable lofting my expectations through the roof since Pixar doesn't miss.

This comes from directors Pete Docter (Inside Out, Monsters Inc) and Kemp Powers who wrote the movie along with Mike Jones, who also wrote the upcoming Italian-set Pixar movie 'Luca'.
